First annual Student Research Conference: Advancing Science Through Student Inquiry

The University of Texas at TylerStudent Research Day: Advancing Science Through Student Inquiry


Please join us, Saturday April 20th from 9am – 5pm at
The University of Texas at Tyler campus for a
Multi-Disciplinary Undergraduate and Graduate Student Research Conference.

Dr. Mitch Malachowski, Professor of Chemistry at the University of San Diego, will be our Keynote Speaker. Dr. Malachowski is involved in the Council on Undergraduate Research, and mentors Undergraduate and Graduate Student researchers. His research interests include bioinorganic chemistry of copper proteins and the synthesis of supramolecular complexes.

Registration is free and begins at 8am. Complimentary snacks will be provided. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top student papers and posters. Submissions from Undergraduate and Graduate Students from any discipline will be accepted.
