The National
Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) Graduate Partnerships Program (GPP) is an
unparalleled doctoral fellowship training opportunity that combines the
academic environment of a university and the breadth and depth of research at
the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Financial support and other benefits
are provided for up to three years. NINR Intramural Training Program Director
Dr. Mary B. Engler encourages doctoral nursing students interested in basic or
clinical research to apply, noting “the GPP offers qualified students a chance
