Job Opportunity for recent PhD in Nursing Grads

The Arizona State University College of Nursing and Health Innovation invite applications for tenured/tenure-track faculty. Positions are available at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level. We welcome the interest of qualified faculty in the areas of health promotion across the lifespan, especially pediatrics and aging, oncology and cancer care, and interprofessional education.
Faculty in the tenure track will engage in active research and scholarship in their area of concentration, classroom instruction at the graduate/doctoral and/or undergraduate level, and professional, college, and university service.

Applicants must have an earned research-focused doctorate in nursing or related field; eligibility for Arizona nurse licensure if a registered nurse; scholarly productivity, and teaching experience appropriate to rank. At the rank of professor and associate professor in the tenure track, applicants who have an established and active research record of NIH funding are preferred.

Expectations (based on qualifications for rank):
- Maintain a focused, extramurally funded program of research. - Communicate scholarship (teaching, research, and/or practice/service) intra- and inter-professionally. - Translate scholarship for practice or policy improvement. - Serve as a master teacher in the classroom, laboratory, or field sites.
- Serve as a research mentor to graduate students and undergraduate honors students. - Serve as a mentor to and/or collaborator for peer faculty in their teaching, research and practice/ service. - Participate in faculty governance of the College and University.
-Participate in interprofessional education and practice as appropriate. - Provide professional leadership within regional, local, national and international nursing and multidisciplinary groups.

Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD or similar research-focused doctoral degree
- Previous teaching experience at the graduate level. - Program of research as evidenced by extramurally funded research and data-based publications. - Eligible for entry level licensure in Arizona; provide evidence/receipt of an Arizona RN license prior to first day of employment with the College of Nursing.

Desired Qualifications:
- Strong record of externally funded research -Consistent and current evidence of scholarly publications in refereed journals
