Do you know other female nurses between 20 and 46 anywhere in the US or Canada?

Harvard School of Public Health
Nurses' Health Study

Dear Colleague,

Each week brings new headlines about research breakthroughs that wouldn't have been possible without the Nurses' Health Study. All of us at the NHS research team would like to thank you for your active, long-term participation.

As you may have heard, we are recruiting a new Nurses' Health Study 3 (NHS3) cohort of young nurses in order to help enhance our ability to understand how lifestyle, environment, and work-life affect health.

Here's where you can lend a hand. One nurse telling another nurse has proven to be the most effective way to encourage women to join this renowned study. We need your help spreading the word about NHS3. By helping to enroll a new younger cohort, your role in our research is greatly amplified.

Our new "Email-a-nurse" site lets you tell colleagues about this opportunity and takes just a few seconds of your time. Do you know other female nurses between 20 and 46 anywhere in the US or Canada? Click on the link below to send them a message. And don't worry; we won't spam them with any other emails!

At the same link you can also download a colorful "Tell a Nurse" flyer to print out and share with your co-workers.  Any method you can use to spread the word, including telling your colleagues or mentioning the www.NHS3.org online, is very welcome!

If you have previously helped us by telling fellow nurses about NHS3, we sincerely thank you!   To date we have enrolled 20% of our recruitment goal of 100,000+ female nurses ages 20-46.  If you know other eligible nurses, we would be very grateful if you would let them know about the new study and encourage them to visit www.NHS3.org to join.

Thanks again from the NHS3 research team:
